I feel honoured to have worked with a wide range of people - with diverse backgrounds, races, gender identities, sexual orientations and in two languages (English and Spanish). My main focus is to assist people in overcoming personal difficulties, feel empowered as individuals, and seek a deeper understanding of themselves in a caring and safe space.
By growing from my own life’s challenges, I have developed a level of compassion and empathy to accompany people going through crisis and/or grieving processes. I’m very grateful for being able to witness clients find self-fulfillment, a new outlook on their lives, and making choices from a place of empowerment.
I have dedicated a great part of my life, through a journey of discovery, to finding out who we are as individuals and understanding how we transform personally, professionally and spiritually. This ultimately sparked my interest in becoming a psychotherapist; constantly seeking new information and following the ways in which the field of mental health and overall wellbeing is developing.
I will assist you in identifying your blind spots, allowing you to move successfully through difficult situations, life transitions, and/or crisis. Ultimately, inspiring transformations that can heal and expand your life experience.
I have been in private practice since 2013, treating adults of various cultural backgrounds, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations in both English and Spanish.
I have created, and continue to lead, programs helping immigrant women integrate into the community for 15 years. I have provided Multicultural Counselling at the Halton Women's Centre since 2009.
